PPR is required for all visiting non-resident aircraft.
Netherthorpe is a fantastic place to visit, and we look forward to welcoming you safely.

Netherthorpe has 2 grass runways each with some limitations and 18/36 has claim to be the shortest licensed runway in England.
The onus is on the pilot to check both his aircraft's and his own ability & performance.
Short take-off & landing procedures & full use of the tora recommended.
early go-around decisions are advised.
Our office staff and the instructors at 3 Counties will be pleased to offer any advice to ensure a safe visit – please do not be afraid to ask.
*Standard over head join should be expected
*beaware of student circuit traffic.
*Note the noise sensitive areas & the 3 wind turbines located to the east of thorpe Salvin.
*large model aircraft flying takes place close to the wind turbines up to a height of 600 ft agl to the South-WESt of thorpe salvin - if joining from the WESt remain above.
*circuit height is 800 ft agl (QFE)
*please consult the relavent pages in your airfield guide. pooleys/skydeamon etc.
*Landing fee £10 for private aircraft. - commercial and mulit-engine fees on request.
